Loafers Lodge Welsh Ponies and Sport Ponies is located in Monkton, Maryland. Loafers Lodge has been producing and showing Welsh Pony and Cob Society of America (WPCSA) champions for over 20 years.

The pony herd includes 2 Section A stallions, 2 Section B stallions, and mares from both sections. The mare band also includes several quality half-welsh mares. The people herd primarily consists of John and Margaret Almond, but they're supported by all sorts of family that includes sisters, brother-in-laws, fathers, mothers, and nieces and nephews. It's a family affair, and the emphasis is on both quality ponies and family fun.

Our Mission is QUALITY PONIES that have The Jump, The Stride, The Looks, and The Attitude to show on the "A Circuit." In addition to that, we might want them to be a confident mount in the hunt field. Our ponies have the disposition to do it all, and do it all with a child rider. We show our ponies on the line up and down the east coast. We also have occasional ponies that we break to drive. We have had numerous National Champions in our herd. Maybe we have one for you or a pony for your child to have as a special friend. We have ponies that make special memories for the whole family.Looking for a Sport Pony????????
